ABOUT
MFTheBrand
Mohamed Fofana is a self-taught eclectic artivist (artist/activist) born in the Ivory Coast, West Africa and grew up in Memphis, TN since the age of 11. He credits San Jose and the Bay Area for inspiring him to take his art more serious when he moved in 2016. What started out as a hobby to express himself and make decorations for his apartment has turn into a growing art business that is MFTheBrand. Within the last 2 years, he has designed artwork for the San Jose Sharks celebration of Juneteenth in 2020 and designed the Sharks Black History Night jerseys in 2021 with proceeds from both benefitting the African American Community Service Agency. He uses his art as a vehicle to bring awareness to social injustices and highlight the commonality in people.
In addition to being an artist, Fofana is a Senior Group Sales Account Executive for the San Jose Sharks and a member of the Teal For Change Council which is the diversity, inclusion and belonging council for the San Jose Sharks.
